The Trump administration is moving to gut the Endangered Species Act (ESA)—our strongest tool to protect wildlife from toxic pesticides and to hold industrial agriculture and federal agencies accountable. EPA’s own assessments have determined that glyphosate (Monsanto’s Roundup) is likely to harm 93% of all plants and animals protected under the Act.

Now, proposed rollbacks could strip away the very protections we rely on to fight pesticide pollution, habitat destruction, and the industrialization of our food system. These rollbacks could even stop Monarch butterflies from getting the protections they deserve, something we’ve fought to secure for decades.
